was founded
in 1970 by Luvine Holmes.
From a small meat locker in
Rosenberg
Texas, Luvine developed our award winning sausage recipe.
He believed that when making sausage:
"You
can't make a good sausage cheap, and
you can't make a
cheap sausage good!”
This is what we built
our reputation on. At Holmes Smokehouse,
we use only the finest cuts of meat seasoned with an old fashion blend
of salt, pepper, & garlic, smoked to perfection
with real pecan
logs.
