Kielbasa and Cabbage Skillet
Ingredients
1 package Holmes Kielbasa Sausage Slices (12 oz)
1 medium red cabbage, chopped
1 large onion, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
½ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
Fresh parsley to garnish - optional

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the sausage slices until browned. Set aside for later.
Add the sliced onion and cook until soft and translucent (2-3 minutes) then add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
Stir the chopped cabbage in and cook until it begins to wilt and soften (5 minutes).
Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, and stir to coat the vegetables.
Stir in the chicken broth and worcestershire sauce, scraping up and browned bits from the bottom of the pan and coating the vegetables.
Mix the browned kielbasa back into the skillet, cover with a lid, and reduce to low. Simmer everything for 10 minutes.
Stir the apple cider vinegar in, and season with additional salt and pepper to taste if desired.
Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh chopped parsley. This pairs well with mashed potatoes, or your favorite crusty bread!
